Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 cup white flour
- 3/4 cup of butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter in a large bowl using the back of a wooden spoon against the side of the bowl to “cream” the butter.
- Add other ingredients.
- Beat all with an electric beater/mixer until combined – but don’t over beat or butter will start to melt.
- Roll into small balls. Flatten with fork or a glass with a cut design bottom or a shortbread stamp.
- Add decorations if desired.
- Bake cookies for 15 -20 minutes directly on cookie sheet. Watch carefully.
