Volunteering at Ladies Learning Code: CSS Fundamentals for Beginners

In a few weeks, I’m going to be a mentor instructor for Ladies Learning Code: CSS Fundamentals for Beginners. You should come learn to code! I think that it’s really important for everyone to know just a little bit of code and I’m really excited to help out with the event.

If you’re nervous, don’t be! I’ve never volunteered for Ladies Learning Code before, so we’re in this together. I used to think that coding was too hard to learn and that kept me firmly in the print design world. I got over it one winter about three years ago, when I couldn’t get my blog to look the way I wanted it to and started to try to teach myself to code. Take it from me: Having some instruction and fun people around is a lot easier then trying to learn on your own!

I hope to see you there! To learn more, click here. Sold already and want to register? Go here.

P.S. You don’t have to identify as a lady to be in the workshop! Gents and everyone in between are welcome too.
